since i have been back for the past 6 months, every patch went smoothly, until now

before patch average ping was 9, yes, 9, max 12...

since yesterday, ping is bouncing from 800-1600 ...!

ran the repair tool,
ran 32 bit instead of 64 bit, no change...
no hardware or driver change
enabled / disabled VoIP, no difference...

uninstalled to attempt a fresh instead, says game is already installed...?

guess i'm due for another year of playing other games.
