I cannot help you with the Arctic Cheetah. For the others, maybe play MW4 Mercs to scratch the itch. MW3 featured the Ebon Jaguar and Shadowcat as well. Also, try MechWarrior: Living Legends for a combined-arms game that includes the Shadowcat (and MASC).

I think it would be kinda neat if they released the 4 special variants earlier than the other ones. Would make them a bit more special since they are releasing them at the same time for c-bills and MC as the other ones.

I can already see sniper Raven (with a bubble on top saying "%$#&@") being chaced by a mech 3 time the size.
