I have no doubts I may be beating a dead horse with stuff that's probably been posted and discussed a thousand times but I rarely bother to read the forum.

I've been liking the way the game has been improving and figured I'd throw in my 2 cents. Also, before anyone accuses me of begging PGI for hand outs, let me say that I've dropped easily 1k+ US$ (Legendary Founder, Clan 1 Top Tier, Phoenix Top Tier, Resistance Top Tier, Clan 3 Top Tier, UrbanMech Top Tier, and just straight up buying MC a bunch of times) into this game. Money isn't a concern, it's me wanting to see my time/money investment do well.

1.)More accessibility to MC - Daily/Weekly quests like Win 3 matches a day = 25 Free MC.
There's plenty of stuff to spend MC on and let the people who aren't as inclined to spend money get a taste of the more "premium" content. I'm probably a 1% in this game, but I have no where near all the skins/colors/misc junk this game has to offer.
Everybody should have some degree of access to realistically unlocking a bunch of colors/skins or if they don't care too much about that, then more mechs from the MC. Variety is a spice and it will help keep people interested.
A newbie who doesn't spend any money on this game will only be able to build 1 "proper" mech from the starter cbill bonus. The trial mechs are much much better and varied than when I first started but a ton of them are still garbage.
Non-spending customers are a drain on the system resources, but we need them to keep the community going and maybe a friend they recruit might be willing to drop some money into this game. Even if they never ever open their wallets, simply by being a part of the community, it helps keep it alive.

2.) Make the tourneys easier and hand out more free stuff but mix it up - Instead of the current theme of handing out a free Champ mech + mech bay that's been the recurring theme for a while now, change it to a ticket that draws a random mech (should not sellable to eat up mech bays) and no mech bay. The first point should make it easy for them to have mech bays. Again, this will improve the variety of options people have. IS Heavy Drawing Ticket, Clan Medium Drawing Ticket, Random Color Ticket for example.

3.) Brawler Game Mode - Long Range weapons range halved, heat halved. Medium Range weapons range and heat reduced by 25%. All current HP values doubled. Alpine/Volcano/Tourmaline removed from the pool. The specific numbers can be fine tuned as needed. A lot of people love to brawl (myself included) and again more variety. Brawling has never been the top meta, and it doesn't need to be, but why not show it some love?

4.) A secondary Trial mech mode - Build a mech and be able to play around with it but not earn any money/exp. Dropping 10+mil cbills into a mech to find out you don't really like it kind of sucks. No one buys a car without test driving it.

5.) PvE - I think I remember hearing about how it's on the horizon, but I'd say there's a ton of people who played the MechWarrior franchise and liked it but don't like fact that it's just currently Stompy Robot Counter Strike.Get CW rolling and add in meaningful PvE. I suspect there's plenty of players out there that have no interest in the current state of the game but would enjoy PvE.

So in regards to some of the propositions I've made, there'd be a lot of "lost profit," but consider some of the following thoughts.

I have so many mechs I need all the cbills I can get my hands on towards upgrading those. I spent cbills on one mech once early on and I regretted it. Barring that one, every single purchased mech I have is with MC. Under some of the proposed changes, a newbie gets a heavy IS ticket and draws him/herself a Cataphract, likes it and maybe will buy the rest of it with MC since they need the cbills to upgrade the others for mastering.

If I don't like a mech, I just leave it to rot in my garage, I've got plenty of others to play with. Someone who just started and bought their first mech decides they don't like it then suddenly has nothing to play with. They wasted their time and say screw it and quit.

I play a cell phone game that hands out the premium currency quite liberally. I want to say a non-paying customer in that game can make 25 crystals a day and with 75 of those, they can get a Mystical scroll to roll the dice for a rarer monster or buy other various things. Two co-workers and myself have all dropped several hundred US$ each despite the fact that they hand it out so frequently. Also, based on what I see from other players in the game, they are definitely spending money too. This seems to be a common theme for a lot of mobile phones and it looks like it works.

I think I had some other thoughts but this post is already too long so I'll just end it here. Keep up the good work PGI, the game is going in the right direction, just pick up the pace a little bit.
