Its actually an age old problem of multiplayer games and latency differences. This shows up quite easily when you're a low latency player being fire at by a high latency player, you move into cover, the high latency players shoots where you were, and you take damage even though you saw them shoot the air, the problem being that they shot you on their end because of the latency discrepancy...
So...no, its not a Hack, its never been a hack, just something people don't understand that gets brought up time and again by people who don't understand it and automatically think its a hack. Actually, MWO is one of the few multiplayer games I've seen where hacking is either non-existent, or so minor that it isn't effective.

Its called scouthack, I carry BAP and stare at other mechs and explosions just happen randomly, or by its secret name, Narc hack which is even better.

Quick question - when you're coming up with a troll topic, how do you determine what you're going to do? Obviously you don't want to create an LRM troll topic too soon to when you last did one of those, so do you like have this in outlook as a calender reminder or something?
