Forever remember this day and the taste of humiliating defeat at the hands of the Draconis Combine and her allies! For the Coordinator and the DRAGON!

Should not be open anyway.

Secondly, props to DCMS and other IS forces for defending it during the least populated window. Hard to get folks on that time of day.

IF it stays open (and PGI really should wake up an intern to get online and fix this....yet another...major algorithm mistake), this will generate some more, hellacious fighting. Wish I was online to participate.

Thx for the props. However, apparently it was soo difficult that several times during "that time of day" (night really) there were over 60+ attackers on Luthien (More trial clan mechs made an appearance last night than ever in the history of this game. I wonder how that could have occurred :P )

Its a weekend and its Luthien. Point being it is the least populated ceasefire window typically.

Unnecessarily snarky much?

Had this been planned, there would've been a greater commitment to this. The currently running event doesn't help either.

Oversensitive much? :P Drop your setting down a notch. ;)

The irony of your original statement is despite it usually being the least active time window, last night it was the complete opposite. That wasn't snark, that was pointing out the fact of what occurred last night.

Ghost drops decided the fate of this planet, unfortunately (or, fortunately, for Kurita). We had the planet up to 70% captured, and were winning nearly every battle; at that time, the number of defenders skyrocketed, to above 99. I have a screenshot of 5 defending dropships waiting for matches, with all attackers already tied up in battles.

Do not get me wrong; these were some good battles, and I applaud the tenacity of the Combine warriors; I simply wish the actual battles being fought were the only things that mattered in the fate of these planets.

Ghost drops need to go.

EDIT: Here you go.

EDIT: Please disregard. Due to being misinformed of the nature of ghost drops, I did not understand what I was witnessing.

The same situation was on Leiston. Clan pugs ghostcapped us down. But I enjoyed the fights and looking forward for the next

Ha ha. Very funny to see complain about lose by not having enough numbers when often win because Kurita not have enough numbers.

I was not there for that one; I hate ghost drops. They succeed only in devaluing the work the players put into capturing/defending planets through legitimate battles.

Also, they are boring as hell.

I have ghost-dropped against Kurita once in the past month, twice in total (the first time, I do not know what the hell happened, because it matched us up after only a couple minutes, not a 10-minute wait). We want fights, not empty victories; If we cannot get a battle after several minutes, we re-queue to see if that helps.

This. Remember, we are fighting to free Terra from PGI.

Slowly the Jaguar stalks the serpent, ever closing the circle to slice the head from the Dragon.
