viper moves at 140+ with tweak and has 8 JJs...so there is that.

Theres no concept of battle value here. For this game to make any kind of sense, all mechs need their own pros and cons.

That's what we call balance. The fact that we don't have anything approaching that right now is precisely why the light queue drops into low single digits.

BV doesn't work here (this isn't a team game in the sense of traditional battletech, where each team is controlled by a single player), and 10 vs 12 isn't saleable to any one but islanders.

I do agree that removing existing content (mech or level) is not the way forward, tho.
