So it's not completely a cripple but still not gonna roll too much damage at 900 dmg potential. You can get 100 rounds of ammo if you go 50 on all your armor sections. 1500 dmg potential but putting that all out without dying is unlikely.
I see quad gauss and I think easy kill same for 3 gauss.

Erm yes. 4x Guass is 48 tons. Available pod space on a DWF is just over 50 with full armor. So, without stripping any armor, you have 20 shots. And since you're firing in groups of two, thats 10 shots per group. Or, about 1/3 of the way through a good match - less if you're a bad shot. So, in order to make any use of the build at all, you have to start stripping armor. To make it any way viable, you need at least 4 tons of ammo, preferably 6. Stripping 2-4 tons off a DWF toting explosive weapons in all its vital parts is not smart.
Can it work? Sure. But that doesn't mean it's a great - or even good - build.
But what if you used a 4 gauss dw as a scavenger, swooping in on the weak at 800+ metres? You could cycle off so much pinpoint damage in a few seconds that well timed and placed shots would quickly get you the kill.. plus, you don't have to kill to be effective; you can choose to leg or core.
I reckon the quad dw can be a super niche just as the mad dog is for killing lights for example.

It'd work perfectly, but you need to not drop with pugs. If you're the sledgehammer of the team, you need the rest of the team to know that and back you up.
And in pugs, they wont.

I mean, being able to aim and fire 3 weapons simultaneously AND hitting the same dime-sized spot from any distance between 0 meters and 1200 meters instantaneously is a helluva skill.
Oh wait, everybody in this game can do that.....
first ist only 2 waepons because you would use 2 gauss in a group and the thrid in another.
second with advanced zoom this is not even that hard. So yeha everyone can do that. But most meta mechs are not supercomplicated to use.
At least 151st found a loadout where he is good at and has not to complain about the game and how OP everything else is. And this is a good thing. Happy gamers in happy mechs.

DWF's don't 'swoop'. They are far too slow to be scavengers. And very few protracted engagements occur at 800+ meters; the ones that do, you will get picked off by PPC fire as they have almost 200m more effective range.
Niche 'mechs aren't pug 'mechs. They require at least an 8 man to function at remotely close to optimal effectiveness, things are much too chaotic in a standard pug match to try and get the rest of the team to funnel the enemy into your niche so you can do your thing. With something like a MDD, it's easier because you have indirect fire and the speed to reposition as the battle flow and it didn't strip off almost 4 tons of armor to be able to load its weapons and ammo.
Quad gauss sounds amazing until you realize what you have to give up to be able to run it. If you're stripping off that much armor, you're better off taking a TBR that can mount more firepower and not gimping your team by bringing a woefully under-performing assault.

Shame you can't find a way not to personally attack 151st at every half opportunity.
