well my game has crashed a lot lately, so i decided to reinstall it.

Download speed: 102.34 kb/s

seriously pgi?


(i have a 25mbit connection and speedtest+ steam prove that it works)

ARPANET was faster PGI.
i´ll stay on for another hour.

Best thing is the download of the install base can not be paused!
I´m now at 340mb of 6400mb at a speed of 30kb/s.

No wonder you don´t get many new players.

After more than 3 hours and 400mb downloaded a hash error has occured.

Haha, owned by the downloader.

Btw. last regular patch messed up my installation and I had to redownload. Estimated for 17 hours but somehow it sped up and finished in about 4 as far as I remember.

The patcher/downloader isnt exactly well done tbh.
At least a pause/resume option would be nice to have. Oh and if possible, make it not break the installation when updating.

P.S. Unless a good deal of people stop shoving money into PGI, nothing will change

But seriously, it's hit or miss for downloads. If you get a slow download server, cancel it, kill the process, and start it up. Just run the repair tool when it's done, and you should be ok.

now it is better i´m now around 60 to 180 kb/s

and heffay, my native language is german, how many languages are you able to write read and speak, oh well educated one?

Just having a little fun with you. It's probably one of the most misspelled words on the internet today, but I am pretty sure you won't make that mistake again.

I can get around in Spanish, so... 2?

Clear out your internet cache, set your DNS to Google (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4), reboot, and try again.

it´s ok, except i´m not in the mood for being made fun of.
oh and in tried the DNS stuff after the hash fail, so thank you, but i´m out of luck with the download this time.


edit 0:22 AM: out of nowhere i get full speed. but still it will take 6+ hours for 6gb...
