This probably has been suggested before, but I'm wondering if it's unreasonable to ask that all mechs and weapons be available for testing grounds at no cost.

This doesn't seem like a bad business decision as it lets people test drive a mech before actually purchasing one, especially if it's one of those hero mechs. I'm pretty sure the benefits of a Huginn are not evident until you actually drive one and start using SRM4s on it.

yes everoyne should have a simulation slot mechbay that he can fill with a mech and loadout for free but that slot does not work to drop in real matches, just the testing ground.

I would love the ability to run any mech/build I want in test mode without having to buy items. It would also be really cool if there were a way to play against other users, with no match rewards.

At the very least I vote yes, please give us a freeform option to build and test things. Smurfy is great, but I can't test pilot it.

I would highly appreciate this.

Just to experience the movement, behavior etc.

And the Sound.... some Engines/Mechs sound really annoying while running them...

I would even suggest including hero mechs in this. Let us try em out before buying them.
