For immursion purposes:
I would like to see the capability to set a default viewpoint/perspective for the initial load of the map from the Faction tab.

For example:
The current setup is perfect from Liao's perspective. Conversly, Clan Ghost Bear is making its way through the invasion corridor from what is essentially a "coreward" foothold. I would like to view the map from that perspective, as though I am flying through the stars towards Terra, as default. I know that I can use the mouse and move the map around, but I would like some additional "flavor" for other factions from the outset. I want to be obliterating mechs and having my backside handed to me by some crazy good IS players while I am looking towards Terra, through the beautiful IS map. Not "down" at the map from above.

Perhaps have a way of setting a default x,y,z, zoom, and camera angle per ...
- Faction or
- Unit or
- Player

Maybe similar to how the "Reset View" button performs its magic, however without having to push the button.
