LOL wave 2 was hilarious. That is why when all we knew was going to be in Wave 3 for sure I had to be the first to say "EXECUTIONER DOA" because the wave 2 **** was so out of hand.

We did get 3 un-spectacular 'mechs in that pack though.

I think that the forums tend to exaggerate how often the term DoA gets used. Specifically, many seem to either forget or not realize that some mechs actually WERE dead on arrival, or at least really really sucky horrible on arrival.

For Wave 3 in particular, anyway who knows how to min-max should be able to determine that the worst-case scenario for any Wave 3 mech is for them to be slightly above average (best case being metagame dominators like the Arctic Cheater or Cauldron Born).

Wow.

The difference is that it will run hotter and be a little less effective at close range. IS LPL duration makes a big difference when brawling and skirmishing. After quirks, the Clan LPL has more than twice the duration of the Arrow's quirked LPLs. TWICE.

I will still give it a try, bit I think ECM might be a better choice than the 3xMG RT hardpoint.

I would also add to that, the unimaginative that cannot see a mech's potential.

It'll be...decent. It's lacking in hardpoints, but Clans have a lot of choices in energy and missiles to take up the space with bigger weapons. For its weight, it'll carry a decent amount of firepower, with good firing locations along with it.

Overall, the firepower is low, and it doesn't have the speed to make up for it compared to a Stormcrow. The equipment is gonna be what saves it if anything.
