i.e. stuff like timber wolf, storm crow, summoner, kit fox etc or they stuck with their already owned mechs and laughable stuff like pack hunter, arctic wolf, arctic fox etc

what about the abjured nova cats? it seems they could produce nova cat and shadow cat (could they?) but what about the classic models?

even ghost bears had to produce crappy ursus...

Yes they could, in limited numbers, much like how Wolf's Dragoons were able to build Omnimechs like the Dire Wolf on Outreach. The problem with Clan Wolf in Exile was not war materiel, but in trueborn warriors. WiE had more mechs than proper warriors to use them, and while they brought a cadre of sibkos with them, it still took time to get properly settled into the IS, and restart their clan eugenics program.

Speed doesn't mean everything.
It does have the firepower of a 65-75 ton heavy mech

If this thing is added in game even udner omnimech rules for MW: O the IS would cry i'ts OP and get it nerfed with 80% laser duration increase and such.
