This. We ASKED them to extend the deadline. They Did. Now that they did, we're actually complaining and asking for more freebies? huh?

I don't think it's such a drama.

PGI set a deadline, some of us scrambled to get the money in time, and so we had a bit of a miffed moment when we then discovered we could have held on to the money to a more convenient time.

This thread merely proposes a no-cost way for PGI to make a nice gesture to its customers who went the extra mile, and also, to show that there continues to be an incentive to meet their pre-order deadlines next time around.

The beauty of them giving away modules, as I've proposed, is that it won't cost them almost anything, but will create some additional goodwill from loyal customers.

I got no issue with PGI doing it...I do kinda have one with people demanding it though.

If its regular in game stuff then I think cbills would be better. Let people buy whatever module or equipment they want.

Honestly, a whale cockpit item is plenty. You guys are making way too much of a thing out of this. I don't think we're owed anything. If they choose to do something nice, I'll happily accept it, but I'm mostly happy more people have a chance to get the extra variants of they want them.

As somebody who actually was pressured into splurging just before the deadline in order to have access to better variants on two robots, I honestly don't think it's necessary. I mean, you can totally give me more stuff if you want to, but I don't feel I need to be compensated for my lack of self-control (let's face it, that's exactly why I did it).

I'm still getting my bonus transformers as expected, I don't feel cheated by it. I'm grateful that they extended it, it was the right thing to do in this situation.

When I first heard about the extension of the deadline my first thought was someone will post saying those of us who ordered before the original deadline should deserve something.

Thank you once again MWO community for delivering.
