Referencing http://mwomercs.com/...most-pit-stops/, I would like to suggest events require a win, and 7 or more assists. Don't even acknowledge killing blows, infact, get rid of the bonus for the killing blow, it's silly in a team game. The bonus for "most damage dealt" is good enough, and, why wasn't that even considered as opposed to dealing the last 1 hp of damage? And in the end-game stats, again, get rid of the "kills" and put in "damage dealt." Or just make every weapon in the game 1 shot, insta-gib kills, then it would make more sense. (I'm not actually suggesting that last sentence, I'm just pointing out the ridiculousness of it).
With a win requirement, people will be more inclined to improve their quality of play. The assist requirement guarantees participation as well. Every 1 person on the team must have damaged more than 50% of the enemy team. Part of playing smart is not tunnel visioning or "chasing the rabbit."
