[Suggestion] Let Players Decide Variant Champion Status

The CDA-3M is currently my primary mech and variant. I'm loving the 20% ballistics cooldown buff and ecm. I couldn't care less about the CDA-2A variant though. Too bad that's the champion. If I could choose to put champion status on my CDA-3M, I'd be purchasing some karma coins right now.
