Go play the trial Gargoyle for little bit. That's what the Executioner will feel like with MASC enabled. Then go play the trial Banshee. That's what the Executioner will feel like most of the time. It's basically a bigger and slower Gargoyle with actual real weapons and armour. I expect it will turn out pretty well, unlike the how the Gargoyle turned out in MWO.

Yes, but unforunately MWO has none of that. It'd be as simple as "it's a battlemech now, have fun!" and it would be an unstoppable min-maxed money-printing machine.

I'm with him on this one.

Technically all the disadvantages is just stuff that is very bad in TT but 'meh' or unnoticeable in MW: O.

I mean I could go make a Duel Gauss rifle Timberwolf with 5 jumpjets if I wanted to with a few ER mediums >.>

(Also I want the Bane nao... 12 machine gun 2 uac 20 troll must come sooner.

Theres just one thing that confuses me about the MWO art for it, and its that in pretty much any other artwork i could find it shows that bit between the "eyes" as a metal plate "nose" while the MWO art shows it as what looks like a window. I mean is that going to be where the cockpit is or will it be like the atlas?

Between the eyes is where it wound up, nose being the cockpit.

Not sold on this one, I am questionable on the effectiveness of masc - since this will be a new feature, we cannot currently gauge how effective it will be in MWO - so that aside, yes it has JJ, but then 90% of the time I do not pilot assaults with JJ, the Victor being the only example. The hardpoints are low slung and it looks like a tank. Also still burnt from the failure of wave II to impress e.g. the general retardedness of the Gargoyle.

For this reason went with the Cauldron Born, this mech looks amazing & the new light looks set to be amazing. So there you go :)

The only clan assault I actually pilot is the whale, nothing else compares imo.. ..you go anything lighter might as well just run a timberwolf.. :P

No one is asking the important question... which is how many ppcs can you fit on that 1 arm?

Have to see how MASC works before I actually invest in Wave III.

In TT I ran it with two PPCs and one UAC/20, replaced the UAC with a HAG, eventually upgraded to a Hellstar.
