This glitch makes the game harder to play, since you have to just guess or find out which targets are real and which are not.
Hope it gets fixed soon, glad Mining Colony map is back !

Very distracting, looking for an enemy target that isn't there. I'm sure it will get fixed along with the game crashing to desktop every now and then. Give them time.

The HUD issue has been fixed and is testing right now. I believe we are going to Hot Fix that today. As for the crashes certain users are experiencing we are looking at the crash dumps that we get and trying to solve the issue. Remember if you get a crash the best way to help us track it down is to submit a ticket with the crash dump file and log file.

S!
Had the ghost target issue, for the first time ever, with this week's patch. They fixed it, but left the horrible performance. I thought they were INCREASING performance, not decreasing it.

Obviously, whatever performance tweaks they were hoping to get working for the UI overlay elements didn't work... again... and again... I really hope PGI is considering changing the UI's framework (Scaleform) altogether because it seems like it's been nothing but trouble so far to display target data.

I haven't been able to play lately. But I had one question... If one were to be piloting an LRM boat when the target reticle is 180 degrees from the actual mech, would you be able to hit your target? Would be fun to watch the missiles shoot through your back. =)
