Private matches being paid for is indeed silly. Acting like it's okay doesn't make it okay. You can sugarcoat it all you want but at the end of the day it is indeed pretty damn silly that you either have 12v12 which is free or 2 premium captains.

Servers takes a LOT of resources.

Unless you want the next pre order packages to be 30 dollars per tier for IS, 40 dollars per tier for Clan.

Or have an inflation or have new maps every year or so.

I suggest that the current moment is quite okay.

Anyway. Trials ISN'T just 1 vs 1.

You can have 5 vs 5, or 10 vs 10.

Even then there is the 1 vs 1 + 1 + 1 ...

aka let's say this.

Your fighting in a crater.

The Khan is hosting the trial, sitting on the edge, spectators and future oponents are circled around, you're in the middle.

1 of the guys get off that ledge and moves in and attacks you.
once you defeat him, another guy does the same, and so on.

(using the MW4 stiener ending as a reference for this in terms of visuals but this happens in the novels as well)



I have no problem with this. It fits the bill and really, premium isn't that hard to get, it feels like every 2nd weekend we get free premium.

I am a clan and we do trials often and we have no problems so far and it's already a half year of doing it or so .

Could you perhaps suggest some way to possibly increase revenue for PGI if they changed things to match the way you'd like them to be?

Trials are not one vs one. The single battles within a trial are, but the one who is trialed may choose to challenge more then one opponent simultanously. He doesn't have to do this before the battle, he can do it while it is still ongoing.

Trials are there to discern the rank of a new pilot. The more kills he can make during the trial, the better his rank will get. Forcing the trials to be one vs ones, removes the pilots chance to become anything other then a simple warrior.

If you are a clanner, you should be aware of this and other clan specific rules and regulation aka zellbriggen.
