Hello fellow IS players,

today we held Accrington [MERC] against Clan Wolf as PUGs against a 10 team MS and afterwards another 11 team SWOL. We did this by wasteing 30 min of their time in a counter attack (we had to attack) by camping our own drop site.
If we had fought they would have spawn-farmed us in 10-15 min and could have done another game. Even though it was boring as hell it was strategically effective and the planet is still Kurita.

This is nothing new and a smart thing to do, it was bad on the MS forces for not killing you all faster.

Why exactly would you play the Meta Game (aka blinking points on a map), but refuse to play the Game (big stompy robots)?

If you and your fellow unit members want to bore yourself for an hour, be my guest.

If you can only accomplish boredom by forcing bordom upon 12 other people, that's where it starts to become a problem.
There is a lot of ways to become bored, including starring at a blank wall. I know it sounds crazy, but most "ways of the boredom" do not even involve MWO.

I would beg of you to consider never doing this again, to no one.

How dare you refuse to be meekly farmed by a comp'd MS team!

They spend a lot of MC on each of those drops to farm you pugs so you should be grateful to them for supporting MWO.

To show your thankfulness for this altruistic act of MS, you should rush immediately to your doom so they can more quickly farm the next group of pugs and get their tag on a world.

If you don't want to get beaten by the better team, then don't drop where they live, imo. Let merc star ghost drop. It's not cool to just waste the whole match like that.

We did the same thing by beating them. Do not camp your own spawn on attack. That **** is really boring and lame.

Refusing to participate and encouraging others to do the same is a really lame way to win the metagame and I would not encourage anyone to do it for any reason, even if it does help HK's borders. Please don't do that.
