Colonel, I have the 9S and it is by far my favorite mech. I had the 5S and it was just not up to par, so I cut the fat. I run 3LPL, 2xSPL. Long as you keep the firing in check it performs amazing. Pin-point alphas are awesome. As a note, weapons modules really round this thing out to be an absolute beast.

9SE is clearly superior to the 5S, especially with their quirks taken into account.

This is the build I run. Or this STD engine variant.

Nice build. That is along the lines I was thinking of going to take advantage of the pulse quirks.

Yeah I have the three ER PPC Build but need the modules for the 9S. Have the Medium Pulse build on the 5SS with the modules on that one.
