Any idea which 4 IS mechs are getting quirked on the 17th? I sure hope that the Victor and the Highlander are two of them, but I've learned not to hold my breath when it comes to anything good happening to the two of them. While the Vic can still jump somewhat (The K), The Highlander is so bad they should change it's name to the Lowlander. The Vic just doesn't have enough armor on it's side torso's to be runnin' round with clan mechs and their higher alpha. Can't run a XL engine when your side torso is one shot away from being gone! Their too slow with a standard engine and can't get away from a doomcrow. I really don't think that PGI can fix old Vic, and after the pop-tart saga, I doubt that they want too. The only thing that I think would work and would help quite a few IS mechs is the LFE. Until it comes out there will always a IS disadvantage.....

Praying for the Catapults. When PGI intentionally kicks the classic old dog and leave him in the dumps for so long, you have to wonder... ...just what did the Catapults ever do to Paul?

Gauss Cats, Streak cats, Splatcats, AC40 cats are a few I can think of...

Victor can still abuse the Jumpjet animation, even with only one installed. Tried it yesterday while I was ambushed by 3 enemies. They shot both of my arms off and then went for the legs because they were unable to hit my side torsos.

Any quirks that increase it's durability or cooling will make it an exceptional brawler.

And that's a reason to intentionally obsolete a chassis going forward? Hardly.

When there was only 3 Heavy mechs in the game, the Catapult just happened to be nicer than the other 2 at the time. We have a crap ton more Heavies now (all more capable). Let's cut the Catapult a break and make it usable.

Those builds ^^^ are severely flawed and or out dated.K2 is swiss cheese if it can't move fast.
