I have only played my Enforcers and are liking them quite a lot. I only built out the UAC5's to quirks. The other two are custom, and all are sweet. I like them just as much if not more than my Cents & Hunchies.

better off using that build with both in the LA; then you can use the Right Arm and side, to a degree, as a shield. Looks ugly as heck, but it works. Plus better weapon convergence.

All true and I know this is how the 'Meta' build works, but no thanks for me. Prone to loosing all your firepower at once. And you loose the Gunslinger feeling.

I like the panthers... mostly. The 10k stock+ somehow works although it seems like it shouldn't (I'm actually using a standard 245 engine in it). The 8z with 3*MPL and 2*SRM4 is a very dangerous mech, even to other lights. I tried 2*LL in the 9r to go with the -energy heat gen... but no, I haven't really found a good 9r build. That one's just 'okay'.

But overall, panthers seems really good. You can kind of do the same thing with ravens but panthers have two missile slots with jumpjets and lasers. No raven gets all three. So, maybe they're kind of like another set of raven variants, but I'm okay with that.

The enforcers have been a lot harder to like. The AC10+lasers and LBX+lasers ones play kind of the same, and it's not *bad*, but it's not all that interesting either. The 5p is the one I want to play as a sort of mini-jager; I'm running a 4*AC2 build and it's fun and all, when it works, but it's prone to not working. Or running out of ammo. Still my favorite of the bunch.

Pretty happy with my panthers, already mastered and enjoy them all.

Enforcer... happy with 4R, messing with 5D 'cause I still cannot find a valid loadout.... sad with 5P, I think I'm going to sell it.

I haven't taken the Panther out yet. That said, I still very much enjoy my Enforcer.

I like the Panther. Good sniper and a totally different light playstyle for a change. Haven't played the Enforcer yet.

I've been challenging myself to run 3025 era versions of both.

the panther is a pain to do this with. the enforcer is kinda a low rent CN9 that's a bit harder to grasp how to play with considering I'm missing my typical shield arm.

that said, love em both.

Enforcer 4R and 5P are both really good IMO.

I do not understand the 5P hate! 5P with 2uac5+ modules is a monster. Prob highest sustained DPS of any medium. The Uac quirks REALLY help this mech. I tear **** up like a 4 uac5 KGC with the 5P enforcer.

4P enforcer with ac10+5medlas is a grate poptart, good all around poke mech.

The Resistance variant is awful. Lbx10 with bad quirks and bad hard points.

IMO ALL of the panthers are AWFUL.
I don't care what argument anyone puts out, another light does everything they can do, but better. They also get XL side torso'd extremely bad, to the point where running a STD engine actually makes them better.

I cant wait to get the Zeus though, If you have seen, it got EXTREME armor quirks.
It has the side torso armor of an atlas!

Of course, if hit reg is ever fixed, then we'll see how truly superior MOST of the FS9 pilots really are........

Panther has better hitboxes, but FS9 has vastly superior close range firepower. 7MPL??!!?!??!!?!?!?!??!??!?!?!!!!??!?!??!????!

Loving both of them. Panther is now my IS light mech of choice, and the Enforcer has grown on me like an AC-equipped fungus ^_^

Those who made the Panther/Enforcer DoA threads were idiots.

I liked the panthers after I took out the PPC's and did my own non-ppc builds. :P
I actually REALLY like 2 of the 3 variants but less fond of the 8z. And for me, I just gotta have something(s) decent in the center torso - don't know how some ppl do it with everything in that one arm - doesn't work for me at all.

Enforcers - a bit more undecided....4R is decent for me and my build, 5P really needs a second torso energy hardpoint...5D - still fidgeting a bit.

They both are great chassies. I haven't dialed in my Panther builds yet, but I have had great success with the Enforcers. Can't wait for the Grasshopper and Zeus!

I don't think there is a real purpose for the Panther unless it gets better quirks. It's simply inferior to the Firestarter. The Firestarter can do anything the Panther can do, and likely better.

I like the Enforcer a lot. The 4R is lethal, and the 5D can find it's place. The 5P might need a rethink.

I've had them, but have played very few matches with them yet. Will play them some this weekend with the double xp thing going on.

I can't put into words how incredibly impressed I am with the Enforcer... Best surprise since the Kitfox ECM + 3x AMS arm!

And to think I only bought this pack for the Zeus.
