So as I understand it, there's a double XP weekend happening right now and I'm not getting anything from it. Played several matches already and have been getting standard XP. UNLESS the XP coming through is already doubled but, usually it will double it at the end, right?

It's doubled, but if you weren't paying close attention to your XP readout before, then you're doing a disservice to people who are paying attention.
For instance, a Win gives 250XP and a Loss gives 40XP. When you check out the actual numbers during the event, you'll see that a Win gives 500XP and a Loss gives 80XP.
That's the problem with the UI and the double XP event... not making it obvious to people who don't normally pay attention to these things to actually take a closer look at the numbers.
