Windows 8.1
AMD FX8320
AMD Radeon R9 270
16GB RAM
UtechSmart Venus 18 button mouse

latest drivers on everything, and this ONLY happens in match. It never happens outside of the game or in the mechlab, so it is NOT a hardware issue.

At random times while mid-match my mouse will suddenly disconnect, complete with windows sound of disconnecting USB. After about 2 seconds, I will hear the windows sound for USB plugging in, and my mouse will come back. This however has the side affect of permanently displaying the in-game cursor during the match until I exit the client and restart.

It is very distracting to have to deal with the cursor flying across my screen as a play. Has anyone else had this issue?

Just did a system upgrade today (MB, CPU,RAM) along with a reinstall of MWO. Game ran fine for a few hours barring a strange @UI_LoginError when trying to save settings. Then all of a sudden my mech lost mouse axis control. Torso swings to the left and down. I am able to center via the C key but as soon as I leave go of that key the torso swings left and down again. MWO Repair did not help.

Unplug any flightsticks, controllers, touchpads, etc. and see if that helps.

Yes. And then I replaced my mouse. I've never had an issue since.

I had/have the same problem

It would reset my mouse buttons too so I had to quickly unplug and plug the mouse back in when it happened.

Another problem I'm having is when I torso twist, it glitches and just stops midway. I end up with my arm reticles facing the sky leaving me disoriented and just wide open to shots I'm trying to spread damage for.

I find it happens more often when I press "asd" together with the mouse sweeps. And it only happens in battle.

I bought a new mouse and the disconnect problem has disappeared but the torso twist getting stuck hasn't.

Kinda similar and a little different to what was described.
