they could have health proportional to the weight of the mech

for example, hunchback, 50 tons
leg 48 armour, 24 hp (no quirks)
in those 24 hp, 4 components
hip, upper leg, lower leg, foot
hip 60%, upper leg 40%, lower leg 40%, foot 60% of the structure hp for example (maybe too high)
hip 14.4, upper leg 9.6, lower leg 9.6, foot 14.4 hp
lose hip -10% turning speed, -10% movement speed
lose upper leg -10% movement speed
lose lower leg -10% movement speed
lose foot -10% movement speed, -10% turning speed

engine could be destroyable too, hp based on rating
hp of engine part = engine rating / 42 * (number of slots)
rating 200 = 28.57 hp, xl in side torso = 14.29 hp, clan 9.53
rating 250 = 35.71 hp, xl in side torso = 17.86 hp, clan 11.91
rating 300 = 42.86 hp, xl in side torso = 21.43 hp, clan 14.29
rating 350 = 50 hp, xl in side torso = 25 hp, clan 16.67
rating 400 = 57.14 hp, xl in side torso = 28.57 hp, clan 19.05 hp

a hunchback with 250 std engine in ct
ct, 64 armour 32 hp
gyro 4 slots, engine 6 slots
gyro 70% of structure hp, engine 250 rating
gyro 22.4 hp, engine 35.71 hp
lose gyro, -25% turning speed, -25% twisting speed, -10% movement speed
lose 6 slots of engine, mech dead

or you could translate the effects in terms of "as having engine of XX rating lower"
example numbers, what do you think?
