Well that's it, House Kurita has outright done the impossible. I was dead certain that the feud with the FWL would be what finally overtaxed or forces and see us fold to the continuing pressure from the clan fronts. Instead I see the League's fighting spirit broken within less then a week. And house Kurita, defenders of earth, have saved mankind from democracy before we had even fully refocused ourselves. Proving that good honest giant robot domination can outmatch two-faced forum diplomacy. Now I idly check up on the post-ceasefire reports and it turns out we traded with the clans while successfully holding off the dreaded MS zerg? We go on like this and the only thing that can defeat us is overconfidence.

We owe a large part of the turnaround to merc forces not only for contributing to numbers and wins, but also for sharing builds and strategies that have helped us get an even bigger leg up on the meta.

We also owe the Free Worlds League a great deal for turning tail and betraying their allies yet again so that we don't have to concern ourselves with any of the IS borders tonight. Thank you, capitalist pigs. Ha ha ha.

Threads like these are a big reason why FRR units are happy to defend Kuritan space. Best reading on the MWO forums, especially when we are partaking in our daily allotment of mead. Many a Viking have paid for our services in story; Kuritan tales are just as worthy. A fitting payment that we can take with us to Valhalla.

Ah, please forgive my self-centered behavior. I keep up on the merc contact tracker thread on the enjin page, but it's too easy for me to overlook their contributions outside my little bubble of the HK TS server.

Free Worlds League deserves thanks too, them fighting exactly long enough for us to thoroughly encircle Terra then having the Marik-led nSL implode immediately afterward couldn't have been timed better.

i think it was one of the hardest fought over eu cease-fire i witnessed so far.
1h bevore deadline i counted 14!!! 12 man teams fighting for wolf in defense and offense, a impressive show of force.
at peak they had 80 pilots queued up to attack accrington!
while the main wolf force was tied into the acrington battle, steiner and frr used the situation and started there own attack on wolf planets and therefor stretched the wolf forces to thin to get the deciding sectors on accrington.
steiners attack was successfull while the frr attack sadly ended at only 40+%.
the frr´s problem was that cgb simultaniously attacked one of there last 2 remaining attackable planets .
so kurita held accrington and the jaguar front , took one marik and defended vs marik.
the last 20 minutes bevore the deadline kurita moved everything, that did not find a spot in the overloaded jag and wolf battles,
into the frr defense vs the bears and helped with about 30 pilots to push shirotory below the 50% marker.

EU - 22:00 UTC - 03/08/3050
Capellan Confederation takes Robsart from The Federated Suns!
Clan Jade Falcon takes Lyndon from Lyran Commonwealth!
Draconis Combine takes Thorin from Free Worlds League!
Lyran Commonwealth takes Ganshoren from Clan Wolf!

Clan Jade Falcon holds Lyran Commonwealth to 6 on Summit.
Clan Wolf holds Free Rasalhague Republic to 6 on Dehgolan.
Draconis Combine holds Clan Wolf to 4 on Accrington.
Draconis Combine holds Clan Smoke Jaguar to 5 on Falsterbo.
Free Rasalhague Republic holds Clan Ghost Bear to 4 on Shirotori.
Lyran Commonwealth holds Clan Wolf to 2 on Symington.

with this concentrated afford the innersphere archived a positive w/l to the clans on that day and time.
sadly steiner, while focusing on defending and attacking wolf where not able to divert enough forces to stop the jadefalcon attack.
all other defense options between clan and is where won by the is!

the numbers of pilots involved in the defense of the combine on that day exeeded the number of kurita loyalists by FAR.

without the help of all the merc units and the defense afford of the southern factions the outcome of that day would have been totaly different.
to give you a idear of the magnitude of that battle:
at peak i counted 170 pilots queued up to attack kurita allone!!! at the marik davion jaguar and wolf front.
was a day to remember!!!
the dcms thanks every one involved in that epic day!
