$799 US price.

Yes expensive but its 27" and according to reviews merges the best of ISP and TN panels with G-Sync.

Free Sync from AMD is in the pipeline so perhaps prices all around will fall.

For myself seeing how my monitor is nearly 6 years old and 22" I am seriously considering upgrading. My 980 would be able to push this monitor quite nicely :)

This is now on my contenders list for new monitors. People raved about it after its reveal. Still waiting to see a review or two, though.

It'll be interesting to start seeing more Gsync vs Freesync versions of similar monitors to see if AMD's cost claims bear out.

In the meantime, this is a really nice screen, and something I could definitely consider provided it's really a solid IPS with reasonably accurate color, because that plus Gsync/Freesync/high refresh rates might just warrant putting down that kind of money for a 1440p screen.
