Many weapon have bad hit reg.
SRM, ISML, ISLL, CML. Some people say thay gauss have problem with hit reg. and IS ER PPC.
For Europe players the main problem is to play with US players. Becuse US with ther ping have 100% hit reg. :/

I'm a U.S. player and my hit reg is definitely less than 100% right now. The loss of hit reg only happened recently, as in within the last patch or two. Thus this thread.

For me, it was the patch a couple months back that had the patch note that said "we have fixed hit registration"(or something quite close to that) It's really starting to affect my enjoyment of the game. The worst part is when I saw that patch note, i thought well, I've never really had a problem with hit reg, glad they have fixed it for the people who are. Now the game just pisses me off every match because the hit reg is so horribly broken since that patch.

Its been about 2 months I've played like this and I'm pretty tired of it. I'd love to buy some more clan mechs, but, I'm not spending any more money on this game while its this broken and aggravating.

I'm in the US with a steady 26-30ms ping and hit reg is the worst I've ever seen in an online game. Some players take damage just fine but most have some sort of magical lag shield.

A patch from PGI, lol.

I also starting getting a lot of new reconnect problems today that involve out-of-Mech experiences where I can fly around the Battlefield like Superman. It's cool, but frustrating all at once.

I meant, for example, how the changes for the Urbie forced the devs to redo some code.

Yeppers! Everyone wanted the Urby and begged for it. Now the thing ain't even in-game yet, but it's already broken everything, lol. :lol:

This game has issues with netcode and possibly server power. I remember things were way better(still not perfect) on 8vs8 just before the 12man was introduced. An other thing is although this game does not have instakills like CS:GO, its an FPS and is not ment to be played with 130ms or more. We 're not getting EU or Oceanic servers anytime soon (or ever) so the only thing I could do was contacting my ISP and asking them to configure my adsl connection from interleved to fast path. That reduced my ping by 30ms. Not much but it's something. But the ball is on PGI to optimise and host servers in Europe and Australia.

HIT REG IS A MESS since last patch. Ran a test. shot 7 MPL Alpha into my friends back . took 7 Aphas from 20 meters. 42x7 = 294 point blank into the back. Please fix this and please note the quick math is a guide.
