Over time I have seen more and more groups/faction using the tactic of waiting until the last hour, hour and a half before a ceasefire then poring as many people as they can on a planet to try and flip it with overwhelming numbers and ghost drops. I think all the battles from a set ceasefire time should mean more than just the last few mins. So, maybe a rolling ceasefire can make this happen. Hear is my idea, every 4 to 12 hour time frame there is a ceasefire. No one other than PGI knows when this will happen. There is no count down to ceasefire it just happens. I don't know just spitballing hear, but I think this could stop the last min horde rushes. Thus making the whole ceasefire mean more than the last hour. Just my 2 cents on trying to make CW a better over all experience for everyone.

I think that amount of attack and counter attack drops should be limited per planet. Once all attacks and counter attacks have been used up no more games can be fought on that planet and then a new planet attack lane should open up. This would remove ceasefires and stop the counter attack spam.

Capital planets etc should have more ticks i suppose too in that case but it would remove this issue totally.

i put another idea in the thread with the poll about this, but both your ideas are still better than the current situation.

Something, CW doesn't have enough going for it as it is to make it into Last Minute Warfare as well.

I like the limited attacks idea though as long as ghost drops were worth like 1/10th current % and no tick or something of what they are so both sides would have something at stake for actually showing up all the way through. Maybe with a stipulation that you need 4 straight ghost drops to cap a planet - if no one showed to defend.
