Does anyone know whether Alex always provides a detailed and full 360 degree view concept art of a mech PGI wants to make/model? For example like this Urbanmech:

Or he just gives PGI the same concept arts we see (mechs in pose) and their modelers have to guesswork the overall dimensions/proportions and the unseen parts (the back, for example)?

We've seen several orthographics for some other mechs before. So it's definitely something he has provided for at least a few mechs. Knowing Alex he probably does fill in more than just the main beauty concept shot we see for most mechs. Especially if PGI pays him and there is time. =D

If he's like any other concept artist, he has tons of all angles and poses, with several different takes on the style. We only see one that is fully coloured and cleared for release ;)

Ah, that's at the same time reassuring and worrying. It's good because Alex makes excellent (both technically and artistically) drawings for the modellers to copy so when the proportion is off (the Centurion, for example), we know that it's because PGI's decisions. But there are times when a particular part of a mech looks just kind of meh. For example, look at the flat back of the Timberwolf and Shadowhawk, they are just uninspiring. I always hoped that this is because Alex doesn't provide detailed drawings for PGI's modelers, so they have to improvise on certain parts.

Judging by the Enforcer he gives the modellers a photo of his drawing reflected in a circus mirror.
