Hi

Sooo ... after I have finished kicking ass, the enemy finally kill my mech, I decide I don't need to watch my awesome team finish off killing the rest of the enemy team.

I esc and quit match.

Do I get all my rewards I earned though that match? including all the assisted kills for enemies that dies after I exit?

I ask this because there have been several times when I have done pretty well in a match and my mech xp doesn't seem to change at all. Even after a win.

I mean its not like I even sucked or anything.

Just wondering what your experiences were on this topic,

Is it just my imagination or are other people losing XP into the void........

Yep, if you're dead and you leave you get everything you'da got if you stayed. It may not look like you got it right away because the match has to end before the XP and cbills show up.

As far as I have seen, you get the rewards up to the point at which you leave. Leaving a match early before mechs are killed that you damaged does not award you an assist.

Patently false. You can leave as soon as you are destroyed. You will get the same pay regardless of whether or not you stayed and I have verified this several times (mainly through those stupid kill/assist challenges). In fact for most players that have been around for awhile, I recommend immediately exiting and hopping in another mech:

- Lets you get more money in another mech
- Gets your challenges done faster
- Saves you and the person you are watching from getting mad at each other*

* Let me be frank, there is a massive number of dead pro pilots out there. Also note that what you see on YOUR screen is NOT what they see on theirs. A shot they made might completely miss on your screen but hit perfectly on theirs. I can't emphasize this enough.

I dropped from a match after getting wrecked in my freshly purchased Cicada. I got zero experience for it. Even on a loss, I should have gotten something.

It seems like that for me too ...some times I get the XP and Cbills ...other times not

There has been issues with not getting paid. Its not the way its supposed to work though. If you disco you should still get it.

This is all true. That's how I grind out the wins and kill + assists requirement so quickly.

Hello.

1) The "correct" answer is, that nobody knows.
Some people say that you do, some people say that you don't. You have no practical opportunity to ascertain it.

Whenever I ask people, they come with dozens of their own private guesses ... but nobody can post a link to some official PGI statement.

2) My personal opinion is that new assists do count, even after you disconnent. About two challenges ago they killed me and I had 5 assists. After that I disconnected instantly.
But later I checked the "Tournaments" page and this particular game showed 7 assists and qualified for a point. That logically should mean that the game counted two assists even after my disconnection.

3) As for adding XPs and C-Bills to your account, there is a glitch. Sometimes the game doesn't add them instantly after the game, but the client "remembers" them and adds them after the next game together with "fresh" XPs and C-Bills.

I think when you don't get cash its a synch issue, like when you are awarded a mech but it doesn't show up fully. maybe joining another match or logging out and going back in can give you the cash you should get.

Also got a reply from Alex on this one.

Sometimes match rewards take a little time to arrive. You will always get your match reward though.

No, the answer isn't nobody knows. You get all rewards whether you stayed or not. Sometimes there is a delay, but they get there.

EDIT: Ninja'd

You get your rewards and and assists but it may take a few minutes to update, they will be there when you finish the next match.
