Ugh, and I just bought a Pirate's Bane late last night. I blame PGI and that 5th beer.

It took only 5 beers for you to lose reasoning skills?

Oh man ... this really throws a spanner into the works as I have been gearing up to get myself a mastery bundle and now this sale makes me think if the mastery is worth it at the moment as the hero is on sale.

Awesome sale but I think I might just get over it and look to the mastery anyways so I can at least have some other variants to ensure I can elite them.

You could email support and see if they might help you out, you never know the outcome and it will either be yes or no.

Once again in any thread that is about money spent on this game you snipe at players who support it.

How is it that you know best about how someone else should spend their money? You refer to them as fools yet you do not know anything about any of their financial situations.......... It astonishes me that you are this naive.

I can imagine Darth Bane being such a spend thrift that he recycles toilet paper.

Contact customer support. They may refund you the MC difference.

Deathlike reminded me that the Misery was on Sale 50 percent off last Halloween.... I'm thinking about getting another Misery so I can farm C Bills even more easily... plus use a different build on each one.

Incase anyone was wondering... the Misery is 17 bucks if you purchase the 100 Dollar MC Package right now... or 13 bucks if you got the bonus MC during Black Friday or Xmas Sales.

Best 17 bucks I've spent on this game so far...

lol

sorry, but in your example, the misery is 100 bucks if you have to buy the 100 dollar pack. You people really need to learn how this works.

Ok ******* question of the day. Does buying the hero mech include a mech bay, or would I have to purchase that separately?
(new player, first time spending money with the company, in fact first time spending money in a FtP game at all!) I did do a search, but it threw up answers from 2013 and things may have changed.

No. You will need a mech bay to put the hero in, unless you went with a mastery pack.

They may have screwed up on the implementation time. Time to poke the community manager and make her work ;)

They just put it in at 5:35pm UTC, so the sale is up now. BUY BUY BUY!

Fixed! Delay was caused by brief database problems.

If you're already logged in, you'll need to re-log for the sale to register.

I would have considered the Iron Grid.... for 50%, but this - nah! Expecting any day to get robbed off your quirks isn't promising, like happened with other Mechs.

Btw. up-quirk the Jester, it's actual quirks are pathetic. LPulse buffs would be cool.

Usually people that play the game and purchase Heroes that are Assault(s) or Packages that cost more will use the most cost effective method of purchasing MC... I do know how this works but I guess I can do the math for you if you wish

Simple Math..

$100 = 25,000 MC equates to $1 = 250 MC =Misery= $17.84 (mine was 13 because of Black Friday)
$50 = 12,000 MC equates to $1 = 240 MC =Misery= $18.59
$30 = 6,500 MC equates to $1 = 216 MC =Misery= $20.65
$15 = 3,000 MC equates to $1= 200 MC =Misery= $22.31
$7 = 1,250 MC equates to $1 = 178 MC =Misery= $25.06

Sorry, wrong.
  • $100 = 25,000 MC equates to $1 = 250 MC =Misery= $100
  • $50 = 12,000 MC equates to $1 = 240 MC =Misery= $50
  • $30 = 6,500 MC equates to $1 = 216 MC =Misery= $30
  • $15 = 3,000 MC equates to $1= 200 MC =Misery= not enough
  • $7 = 1,250 MC equates to $1 = 178 MC =Misery= not enough
I know what you mean, what is your best bang for the buck, but that is exactly how this is set up. If you buy the 100$ pack you just spend 100$! (even reduced, and yes I bought it, too then)

It doesn't matter how many virtual fancy hats you can buy in an imaginary currency. That was 100$. People need to stop thinking that it is better to spend 100$ instead of just 50$ or 30$ because of a better (virtual) value!
Or even worse, some guys really think they actually saved money in spending more!

To clear this up, I'm not against anything of this, at all. This is usual business practice all over the world. But you ("you" in the means of people, not you personally) have to understand this practice, especially with companies selling virtual goods.

So, you are saying that if I buy a $100 MC pack and use it to purchase 5 Misery's that it is a $500 value. Because each misery = $100

No, what he is saying is that if you bought the $100 MC package and used some of that MC to buy a Misery you still spent $100 regardless of what percentage of the MC was used to buy the Misery. Sure the dollar per MC ratio is the cheapest/best on the largest MC package but you had to spend $100 (or $99.95) regardless of how much of the MC you used on the Misery in order to get "the best deal". So while $17ish of your $100 was allocated to purchase the Misery, you still spent $100 to purchase the MC you used to buy it with (hope that makes sense).
