Well there's been a few threads about the grind lately. This weekends tournament is probably the easiest way to earn 12mill c-bills EVAR!

Jus sayn... ;)

Call it the Paulconomy Stimulus Package™.

It would be nicer if there was some long-term Paulconomy boost instead of only a weekend, however...

How will they make a margin on this if everyone is so space rich they aren't tempted to spend real money ?

Current top thread in GD is from a dev, asking about ping problems
http://mwomercs.com/...-your-gameplay/

So I'd say they read and take notes.

Also this! Mike Post and Alexander Garden answered that thread with their work and private systems.

Wow so one weekend instead of actually re-evaluating rewards, yup typical PGI lazy easy way out.

They might not mingle with us on the forums, like they used to during closed beta, but they are definatly still informed.

Wow, this another one of those which is a worse situation, does PGI hear the complaints and still do nothing or are they uninformed. One thing that points to uninformed is Russ's apparent surprise that people would want to buy stripped mechs and his total lack of grasp of why anyone would want this. There have been numerous threads requesting and explaining the reasons since CB and yet Russ seemed to have no idea until the last town hall. I personally lean towards them knowing and not caring as long as they can sell mech packs. Also if you want PGI attention on an issue, offer real money, it worked for the Urban drek.

They created this forum solely for the purpose of collection all the posts they never want to read.
Yup. That must be it.

Do you believe he can personally read all the posts?

He will most likely read some and get a filtered version about the rest through his community management team. He will not be informed about every single little topic. An educated guess would be that he is informed abotu the current hot topics.

Stripped chassis are a topic randomly popping up every few weeks. It is most certainly not a hot topic.

It is very sad that PGI's Dev Management Team didn't go to the Homes of all those butthurt players, so while scratched the home owners balls, these folks could explained to them how it was they should have made MWO, then in between the many short strokes, what they should do now to fix all of it. Then they could have sent them on there way, back to the office, with $35.00 of their Cold Hard Cash, with which to accomplish all of those tasks.

Surely that would have saved a lot of headaches and butthurtness for so many who play, but just don't like MWO. Why didn't PGI go door to door ffs. :(

This is a good grind because it's not all or nothing. The last two were frustrating because of both the requirements for getting a point and the fact that if you got 49 instead of 50, no Adder for you. So you can choose how much you want to grind.

no. tldr.

though there is a hierarchy of upward information flow. if something on the forum happens and is big enough, then people closer to pgi will bring it to their attention. most of the time no, and i dont blame them. you can blow hours a day reading bs rants and complaints by the unskilled and wonder where all your dev time went.

Yep, and now it's Tina's full time job - who incidentally replied twice yesterday to point out how smart I am ;)
