Good to know. Just remember, lack of community communication has always been the real achilles heel with MWO/PGI. She or one of you Mods with her permission, should edit that info into the OP.

Yep. This is over. PGI did not get, that doing this every week was... well optimistic at best. But people were naive at the begining, and tried to produce stuff for this event. But with really no surprise its done now, like so many times with community content, they simply dont care.
They have this... what was it... NGNG and they think its all they need to do for community. Truth is thats paid stuff not community produced ( I cant stand Phill in those podcasts, so i dont listen. He might be great guy but how he talks, i cannot listen.) But still, maybe they should be the ones to hold this event, seems like PGI is not up for it. Maybe once a month.
But then again, are they willing to show stuff made by others than NGNG, is something they need to think over.

Just doing this event (player submissions) would only take about an hour or two to update and then maybe 4 or so once a week to talk to the update guy (guy who makes the weekend updates) to put in his video..
Pay some intern for 2 hours a day to create community content for something, JESUS the fluff battletech has and you have the FRACKING LICENCE now is so vast its not even funny and is only limited by your imagination. I hope their imagination is not only on money but on creating content or FLUFF for the community.
Hell tell you what if this is not going to get off the ground I will do it.. I will created a forum thread and you the players decide on what you all like once per week and I will show it off in a youtube video.. The submission will have to have a number next to it and the players vote on what one they like and once per week I will tally up the votes and make a youtube video on the winner per week...yea that sounds about right...
Tell me what you think about this idea because the lack of the VAST battletech universe is mind blowing.. let me know

Triskin, I've heard that Tina is already figuring out a new way to represent our coummunities work.
I agree though, that burying the fan creations forum in a 3rd layer subforum is a damn shame. It should be on the front page frankly. Like they have it in warthunder.

Its a simple thing to get this started from a PGI standpoint and dont know why its taking WAY to long to get started and running...
