It was probably Alex or one of the texture guys messing around. Who knows, maybe they actually DID have those camos on the drawing board for the Crab, but shelved them in anticipation of the epic amounts of whining that would ensue.

Honestly, I have to go with PGI on this. It shows a list on the right of what you get, the cockpit items and the three camo colours with a Crab modeling it for demo purposes.
Just because you see an ad for some Victoria's Secret lingerie doesn't mean you're buying the drop dead gorgeous model wearing it or her skin complexion as well, kids.
