My suggestion is to change billing provider from UltimatePay. Not only are thier processing for payments rather shoddy but they do not support APO/FPO address for payment info. Ultimately I've concluded that thier paypal porting for payment is useless aswell. In the windows that pop up for using already created paypal accounts you obviously do not enter a ADDRESSS because you already have an established account, and when the Merchant reviews the purchase they keep rejecting payment because thier is no shipping address. ***? fix your system if you sincerily would like a payment please, or pick a better provider for your billing cause at current its "[redacted]".

My suggestion is you don't suggest to a company how to run itself.

Also, should have been put in the suggestion forums.

Actually, there's a support forum if you want help with your problem, although they're just going to recommend that you send an email to support@mwomercs.com

Right on, I apologize for my heated and hasty post, however as it may be the last 7 days I wasted trying to contact support ended with them explaining for me to reattempt the paypal purchase way. At this point I'm almost firmly resigned to the thought of either purchasing/prepaying for the legedary pack, nor any other pack as its just proven absolutely frustrating to reach any support for the billing issues I've had. I'll just have to write this off, and remember the days of MPBTO 3025. Cheers to you all

Can't see why PayPal payments need to go through UltimatePay... just one more thing to go wrong.

That does suck if neither payment method supports APO/FPO, but I kinda doubt that Paypal just doesn't work with them at all. I recommend creating an account with them, and creating a saved payment method which should pre-authorize/confirm your address. If that doesn't work, Paypal should hopefully be quicker to respond than contacting MWO support.
If UltimatePay denies a transaction, its best to contact their support instead - Otherwise you have one degree of separation that'll cause worse response times.

I contacted UltimatePay. They spewed out a line of BS about PayPal declining the charge, yet PayPal says the seller cancelled payment. This is obnoxious. Why the need for UltimatePay at all? Why not just use PayPal?

I second this. UltimatePay has denied my cards and refused my PayPal payment a dozen or so times thus far. I want this game! Take my money, please!

Posts from drama queens aside, this system is fine, more than enough ppl have managed to buy the founders package thus far without issue, there has been a glitch with their system, this happens from time to time with E commerce, nm who the vendor is.

Just wait until the error is fixed if you have issues atm, the game and its founder’s package are not going anywhere just yet, and if you had not yet bought the package before today its clear you were not in that much of a hurry to buy it anyway.

Drama queens? The fact that tons of people have had problems with the payment system does not bode well for when the same people later decide they want to buy stuff in-game. It doesn't matter if people were in a 'hurry' to pre-order a free-to-play game or not. What matters is that the company making the game is screwing themselves out of money by having any payment issues. Think about the lost revenue for the devs when their payment system is constantly screwing up, before you open your mouth and talk trash about people you don't even know.

I have never had this amount of BS to deal with when buying stuff on ebay or any other website online. I've tried both PayPal and credit cards for two days on three different computers to no avail. If it doesn't get resolved, I guess I'll just be playing for free, because I'll have no way to pay and support the dev team. The fact that PayPal says the seller cancelled the charge, and Ultimate Pay says Paypal declined the charge, does not bode well for customer support of this game.

I'm not trying to be a troll here. I'm a game dev myself, and it ****** me off when the people who actually make the game get screwed out of money over stupid issues like this.

"PayPal Express Checkout has rejected your payment attempt. Please select another way to pay. We apologize for the inconvenience."

I've tried two of three payment options 1)Linked, verified, account and 2)Linked, verified, VISA card. Whats the use of trying 'bill me later' option when MWO wont take either of the other two methods? This attempted at Real Money Trading has been made feeble by the MWO staff. Integrity prevailing, I'll just drum up the other 3,000gxp I need the HARD way. Damn, I wish I hadent wasted that first module on stupid useless zoom :( I'm a LRM BOAT lol

can i refund gxp on modules I dont want on the pilot tree? That's not a serious question, however, why (not just wont, but) CANT MWO fix w/e problem MWO is having with PayPal? Is this something to be petitioned to the Federal Trade Commission? Yet? Or Better Business [/color]Bureau? What city/state does MWO operate from anyway? Is the company even IN the States?

Okay. After a few emails back and forth with PlaySpan customer Service, we were able to fix the issue with my method of payment and how MWO receives payment from paypal. The issue was more or less the fact that my computer's IP address was too far apart from my address I had on record. When I explained my situation they made an exception for me. If those of you are experiencing problems like the one I was having and just so happen to be in a different country, overseas or in a DMZ you will have a solution the way I mentioned. PROBLEM SOLVED!
