After playing for a couple of hours MWO starts to hang after a player is killed.
It starts out unnoticeable, and then becomes longer and longer the longer you play. It ends up getting to the point where the game will hang .5-1 second each time a player is destroyed, making intense brawls a laggy, unplayable mess where the game stops constantly.
You can fix this bug by closing and reopening MWO every couple of hours, but this workaround is only temporary and the issue needs to be solved.

I find it best to close and reopen every hour or so anyway since there are many more memory leak issues than just this one.
Its a practice which will save you a lot of headaches with crashes and weird stuff.
Most of these issues are probably in the engine not really PGI's realm or ability to fix.
