Convoy
A convoy of heavily armored vehicles needs your protection as they move across the map. Like all small vehicles, they cannot be directly targeted (no LRM with a spotter for easy win). At least one vehicle needs to safely make it to win. The other side must, of course, destroy them. Be warned, some are loaded with rare types of elements which on destruction can release clouds of gasses that can obscure vision and even render certain types of weapons useless.
Star League tech capture
A Star League mech has been rumored to be found by locals, and the race is on to retrieve it. The map is both massive and not hospitable for large dropship landings. While fast moving Scouts search for the rumored mech, slower moving mechs will make their way to a platform where helicopter transports wait. Once the mech is spotted the helicopter transports will begin lifting mechs and taking them to the destination of their choosing on the selection map. Be warned on your choice, you can only select once and you are very vulnerable to enemy fire while in route - and you cannot fire back.
Each mech has been outfitted with tow cables and beacons. Once in range of the star league mech the cable will automatically deploy. Your team must drag the mech to a safe spot before setting a beacon. Once activated, a helicopter carrier will be deployed to retrieve the mech. Fast scout mechs with sensor modules can give your team a huge advantage.
Deploy and Destroy
Similar to ‘Star League tech capture’. 4 bases must be captured. 2 platforms on each side of the map have helicopter transports. Go!
Capture the dropship base
Each team finds themselves in an unusual battle. Starting on each side of the map (as normal) they must make their way through an enemy base (look out for defenses) to capture a dropship. Each side must take over 3 objectives before before a capture countdown begins for the win.
- Anchoring pad. Below the dropship in a series of tunnels is the anchoring pad controls. It must be captured.
- Fuel pods. The fuel pods are housed within an reinforced armored dome. A huge ringed catwalk leads down to the center pod station. It must be captured.
- Defense grid controls. Capture of the defense grid tower resets all turrets to your team! Any destroyed turret will repair itself (just once) after 1 minute of capture.
Gladiatorial Combat!
A huge round flat arena. Each time starts on their respective side… but in an individual gate facing into the area. All gates positions are random. Starting with the lightest mech, the gates begin to open. Every 20 seconds a gate opens. Let the battle begin? Not so fast.
Every now and then a turret pops up. It could be a laser turret, missile turret or could be a turret that sprays you with sticky tar that slows your movement to a crawl… oh and don’t let someone hit you with a flamer once you get that on you… won’t be a pretty sight (for you anyway).
