I find it odd we are limited on basic for Cbills and Standard costs MC. Shouldn't Basic and Standard be Cbills? Yes I understand that anything other then that should cost MC as those are premium or rare paints. Seems a bit odd. Basic is extreamly limited.

Basic has four paints which can be bought for Cbills. 1,250,00 per paint.

I solely use my PCG colors.

I have all the Basic/C-bill paints (blue, purple, red, orange, and, of course, green), all of the colors that came with Project Phoenix (3 Phoenix colors, 3 Hot Rod colors), Clan Wave I (3 Invasion colors, 3 Polygon colors), Clan Wave II Faction Paints (3 colors each for 4 clans), and Resistance colors (3 colors of the Resistance paint scheme).

I don't bother paying MC for virtual paint.

Yes, colors are expensive. But hey, they have to make some money somehow, you know.

What's really outrageously expensive are patterns. 750 MC or more to "unlock" it for 1 mech chassis? Ridiculous.

paint cost are somewhat fine if you buy them on sale. To be rue, last paint sale was... well way back i think.

If you are into packs, you end up with colors anyway, I'm at a point where I have more or less all kinds of colors to reproduce every paint scheme. I think I have like 8-10 shades of red and grey through the various packs, and tomorrow will bring even more.

They are "vanity items", so the intention is for people to shell out real cash on them.

It was and remains my assertion that CBill paints should be able to unlock the equivalent of a Crayola 8 pack. 3 primary, 3 secondary, black and white. All else should be either STD or Premium and I would add paint packs that allow you to unlock big groups of paint at reduced costs. For example I would add a Complete paint unlock for $100 that grants all paint colors and all future paints. There would also be sub groups you could buy for like $10 such as the Camo palette.

Also I would very much like to see metallic colors added.

Its a F2P game doing it's F2P thing. Nothing new or special.


The game gives you the basic items to play and compete for free, anything outside of that can be had for a "fee".

Its pretty normal.
