Well, any side that tries the "Lets rush cap" strategy isnt usually the brightest tools in the shed, so it would make sense that despite being amongst 10 mechs that thye couldnt stop you. Not to mention, getting up in amongst them like that, they cant even see or hit you.

But that was amusing to see, I thought they woulda had the base...but not quite haha.

Had a CW match last Friday against 8 or so of the best players in TCAF and a couple of PUGs. We were playing defense on Sulfurous Rift with a group of 9 from HHPG and 3 PUGs, the PUGs managed to lose all their mechs in the first 10 minutes. Despite that, we kept defending and managed to more or less even the odds.
We did lose eventually, by the time the enemies' final wave reached our defense there was less than 2 minutes on the clock and we were down to 7 badly damaged mechs, while they had a few damaged mechs and a couple of fresh ones left. We ended up losing 42 to 48 with one minute remaining. It was a great hard fought match for both sides.

I'm a fairly mediocre pilot, so this is obviously something that stands out as an anomaly of incredible luck and running the OP overquirked mech that I did. But it was a heck of a match, and I still can't believe that the guy at the end...well...I won't ruin it.

Here is my most epic match:




It came down to my Enforcer 4R against four Clan Mechs (Daishi, 2xEbon Jagar, and ECM Loki).

I owned them.

Final score was 9 kills, 1 assist, and 1309 Damage. I qualified for my Ace of Spades Title too.
