Hi,
if I cue for CW and go to the desktop, will the MWO client notify me when the game is ready for a drop?
If no. Is there any way to cue for CW and not stare 30min at my screen ?
Thank you in advance,
Lokus

It doesn't do it automatically, but there are three signifiers that might help a lot.
1. When you've loaded the map and hit the ready screen, the icon for MWO will flash yellow. At least, it does on Windows 7. So if you keep an eye out for that when alt-tabbed, it can help.
2. When somebody speaks on VOIP and you're tabbed out, you will still hear them. This has grabbed my attention a few times, keeping me from AFKing the first minute of a match by accident.
3. Game crashes. If you launched a match search, tabbed out, and you just noticed your MWO icon disappeared, chances are the game started. Start-of-round-crash-to-desktop might actually be a feature instead of a bug because of this. =3

Thx!
I tried your first suggestion and noticed that my MWO icon in the taskbar goes blue if the game is ready.
Now I can do something else while cuing, this makes my life easier

They really need to have some kind of audio queue for match ready/starting.

I am falling victim to missing matches due to no notification also.
It would be nice if the faction chat was usable while waiting for matches and maybe some of screens of some sort.

I find myself playing alternative games in my own TZ (Euro) simply due to the lack of population to even have a game.
Have to stay up later in the evening or into the small hours for the US TZ's to get games for CW and even then you might have to queue here and there to make up 12 man units to play.
