Bishop - as much as this is going to suck to hear:
The last thing any clan mech needs is more range. The only reason that the IS get insanely high % quirks is due to the massive difference in firepower that errs to the side of Clan.

The Summoner's primary issue is not range, it's issues are that it lacks free tonnage - which isn't something that can be fixed by quirks.

Dude, if you really look at what is being said, I could give 2 squirts less about the range. It's about the percentiles themselves. There are plenty of things I would choose to quirk differently, to begin with, that's a whole different topic.

Oh I stand corrected, lol. If you spend enough money and post 27K times you too might get a dev response. For the rest of you peasants please stick to Twitter as Russ can't be bothered to read his own forums.

Ah, somebody butthurt? Lol. Keep trolling.

They read them. They just do not always make a post.

And you know that because? I mean Russ had never heard about people wanting to buy stripped mech's and yet I've seen it on the forums numerous times. Even if true it brings up another cool PGI dilemma, do they not read the forums or do the read them and still not deal with the issues? ;)

Maybe the quirks were tame because ES will be unlocked?

One can hope.

Maybe they would pay more attention to the forums and stand a chance at receiving good suggestions if the forums weren't completely congested with utter shjt posts and discussions 90% of the time and you need a hazmat suit to wade through all the junk and get to the actual GOOD suggestions.

Just sayin'.

Yeah, it's not that the idea itself is bad, or that there aren't some interesting facets..... it mostly... 2% now.... what, 2% more 3 months from now? Maybe 2% more...oh oops...we forgot...People still play Summoners? But why? We have mechpack Invasion Wave 7 out.......

By the time we get to Invasion Wave 7, maybe we'll get the Hellstar?

Hmm, it's almost like there should be a PGI employee, maybe call them a ...Community...Manager. Yeah that would be a good title and maybe they could keep the forums from turning into such a mess. I mean maybe they could stalk posters on other sites and ban them because of what they said elsewhere and get the whole company banned from Reddit. Well that might be going a bit far. But maybe this person might do something about making the forums a place the devs could come and interact. Oh well I'm just crazy like that.

So IS gets huge quirk corrections but Clan gets small (maybe incremental, maybe not, who knows ??) changes?

Double standard?

So di Grasshopper have a bad climbing archetype fixed in a day??(Is Garg finally getting addressed then?)

Dunno, kinda an upcoming reason to fix it. See, Wave I is still up for purchase, and the Steam release is on the horizon. The steaming hordes may bring the salvation of the summoner.

Gotta get that sweet Steam dollah dollah.

I'd love an excuse to buy the Summoner a la carte for this acct, too.

PGI and iterative... Yeah, not looking good, guys.

Remember the selling point of UI2.0? Fast, iterative fixes and changes.

AFAICT the UI is still a mess, missing things like working filters, having huge amounts of wasted space, zillions of identical (non-equippable) equipment icons, among a host of other failings, and generally being just a big letdown.

Chances are moderate to good this is the final quirk values for at least some of these 'mechs.

Those words... they don't mean what PGI thinks it means.

Just because we had one apple go sour doesn't mean the new one will. Tina's new and still learning the ropes, perhaps with time she'll be able to do all the great things Niko was able to handle and plenty more, like managing the forums and keeping suggestions organised and on dev radar... all the while not actually pulling some asinine antics and being the reason we can't have nice things. ^_^

Now take your salt somewhere else; I hear there's a restaurant around the corner that could use some new spices.
