Legs and torso needs to be slimmer and the mech itself needs to be smaller overall.

The biggest buff to the peacedove would be a clear visual distinguish from the DW.

Nope. Prolly won't happen. Why? it's based off the dire wolf. Was in lore any ways. Not sure there's much that can be done forit. It's a fast support assault. I will say it got significantly more respect in the books and was used as far as Solaris. One was stolen by a former clanner during the Solaris riots(after he splattered the pilot with an lbx as the poor fellas was was ascending to the cockpit) the theft resulted in an epic battle between him and a pro Davison pilot.....I need to read that book again

At best, we can hope for a slight armour buff through quirks. But I don't know that the Warhawk is in much need of help, to be honest. It may not be as good as the Dire Wolf, but it's still a very solid assault mech for its modest 85 tons.

People just have to get used to the fact that its firepower is a lot greater than its durability. This makes the Warhawk an attractive target, because the reward for taking it out is huge. It's the opposite with the Atlas, which is a lot tougher, but doesn't normally have the same firepower (due to its low speed, it takes longer for it to get in range with SRMs). Of course, it depends on their specific builds, but the Warhawk has so much firepower relative to its armour, it's simply too dangerous to let it live very long.

Warhawk pilots have to realize this precarious situation and modify their tactics accordingly.

I'd like it, but if there's any one mech that desperately, absolutely, just-can't-play-without-it needs a rescale, it's the Awesome. It's a poster child for the Subway diet.

Trebuchet is a strong contender for prime re-scaling target too. Poor Trenchbucket.

Actually daishi production started in 3010 and masakari in 2999, so masakari is not based on daishi.

It can wait in line behind the Awesome, Trebuchet and some say Catapult.

durability is fine, the issue is heat. it has only a few E hardpoints so it an not make use of many MLSs or MPL's, so it has to stick with ERPPC's and ERLL or LPL. and they run way to hot for this chassis.

you can't properly mix a Ballistic in it, too many room blcoked with DHS the mech doesn't needs in this case.

If it had arms with 4 E each, then it may be very interesting to play. 2LPL 4 Meds and many many DHS. yet even then it would have issues: the TBR, the TBR bsically has better cooling or the same because it stores 5DHS in its engine. makign the maximum possible amount of DHS the Warhawk can have and the TBR can have only differ by one. But the TBR has way more mobility.
and the hitpoint difference is to insignificant to truly make a difference in MWO's PPFLD world.
