My experience is the torso wont stabilize at centre, the torso will start to shake side to side and will get worse with movement. C & F problems may be related or different altogether.

"C" and "F" certainly have nothing to do with it. I've had it start shaking two steps into a match.

It's so freaking frustrating.

I've had it clear up if I just whip the mouse one directing and keep sweeping it over.

I've had it so bad it causes lag/FPS dump.

I've never encountered any issue with autocentering; probably because I don't ever use the autocenter button.

That said, I have noticed that when my arms are locked in place, all my mechs feel more 'responsive' - there's less of a point-and-drag delay like there used to be (which is why i've usually preferred arm lock off even when not using the arms). I don't know if that's a side effect of the fixes and what's going on here, but I am thankful for it.

I get this but only in CW matches. Mouse and keyboard are only things plugged in.

For the first time I've had it happen up and down.

I've found the issue affects mechs that do over 120 kph the most. Popping in and out of 3PV fixes it for a few minutes. Seems to get aggravated by thermal vision, too.

I really don't like it when my mech gets Parkinson's.

I've been having the "mech shakes" on and off for a bit. I've had it happen at the beginning of a match, when poking, and when brawling (lots of fun). I'll go a bunch of games without it happenimg, then it will happen 2-3 times in the same game.

I wonder if it's a lag/low fps issue? It seems to happen more in fast mechs on low fps maps. I think it's the worst on Forest Colony in my Jenner.

When it happens all I can do is run away and hide until it goes away.

I just ran into this yesterday on my Ilya when starting a match so it does appear it's still out there in some cases. I forgot to try toggling arm lock, but neither C nor F would stop the turning.

I discoed and reconnected and it was gone on the reconnect.

Yea :( I've had side to side in pretty much every mech I play of all speeds.

In this case, it was my commando on mining collective.

i get a nauseating jitter when using turning off arm lock for some reason, so i keep it off unless i need to shoot something out of my normal fov (like a uav or a flanking light). different but potentially related problem.

its probibly something to do with the routine that aligns the torso with the crosshair. if the framerate is low dT is gonna be high and that multiplies against the max turn rate of the torso to figure how far to turn each frame. so its gonna turn to far and try to go the other way, overcompensate again, and thus an oscillation. check to see if the amount of rotation for that frame is more than the needed amount, then if it is use that instead.

control theory <3.

Is there something new about this Problem? I get this Torso shaking from time to time- especially with my light mechs. I can stop this with "Center Torso" but it only works when I stand still. Whenever I move my mouse or the mech it´s shaking again.
Is there something I can do to stop this?

You can stop the shaking by pressing Left Shift, its still a problem, the lighter and faster the mech is the worse it will be and its aggravated by poor FPS.
This is still a problem.

Still a problem in November. shaking to the right and left. But also up and down in certain situations mostly on mining collective. The maps this happens on are all. most affected to the point of not being able to move Bog, mining collective. least affected alpine. Now the new rivercity and forest colony can at times cause issues and you can not chose the direction that you want to move in .

Now how bad of a problem is it. think that I was able to get into the top 10 for the griffin last year (2014) for the chassis challenge. Then the feb 2015 patch that screwed everything up!
After that I have been able to barely get on the leader boards, but also dropped KDR and percentage of wins. Now my KDR is close to .7, where it was 1.1. Wins were within a few of 50% up or down, now 120 or so below 50% wins.

How has this affected how much I play MWO, alot. Now I might play 20 games a week instead of over 100.

How much has it affected on what I purchase. NOT ONE MORE #$%& CENT!

Have you sent an email to support?

Have you tried to get video of said bug, can you reproduce it? Or get it on video anyway so we can submit it to devs?

Can you drop into pvt matches and reproduce this? If you cant record the problem maybe someone can join in on spectator mode and record while you play and get the bug to show up?

Just typing out the issue makes it very hard for the devs to find the problem...or maybe it a problem with your system.

Support is gonna ask for trace routes, your system specs and some other stuff so if you can get your ducks in a row and get this info submitted it might speed this fix up. Its hard to find bugs when they dont really know where to look. So giving them something to look at would help immensely.

Happy belated Halloween! That's either a gremlin or a poltergeist you have there, laddie. You will want to call a specialist to take care of that.
