Its about time my MG looks like a MG instead of a UAC-5, and my AC-20 looks like an AC-20.
Even the Energy points look good.
Screw you guys that whine about it, this looks great IMO.

I stripped them all - i need time to accept the changes -
the pitty is - is the guy responsible for this change the same who did the Starfire LRM for the Zeus?
Look that is how weapon visuals should be
Even when the MAC Look like tooth picks again
I know that you or somebody with the same opinion statet - weapon visuals are great to see the loadout of the enemy without lock on...
well dunno maybe with Ultra High Graphical settings? Got shot yesterday in River City by a CTF - distance 200-250m - all i could "see" were the pocknarbes of damage - i did not see and "identify" his dual Gauss Rifles

I think that you're failing to account for the fact that the 'phract is "a bit large for a 70 tonner". Aesthetics and realistic scaling generally don't mix.

Put PPCs either side of your cockpit and they should block your vision. Zero sympathy.

we know how tall a mech is, and some people know how big of a caliber the AC cannons are so they can use the scale of the mech vs the scale of the barrel and we can know if these are properly scaled.
People keep saying they are tiny machine gun barrels but maybe that is how they should look.

BattleMaster, Wolverine, even the plastic models, they all had what appeared to be an Assault Rifle in their hands instead of some built in pod stuck in just to fit.
Like this.

They don't block much vision, they only do, if you already "adjusted the PoV" which some would even call cheating because it makes you observe more area as you should.

It also makes your max zoom level much lower because it scales with FOV.
