I was in a match with some people that had been TKed by a known Team killer player(well known to all the old players) who was in glee that he had killed three players on our team before taking himself out.

he gloated about having his account ban and just made a new one to start it all over again.
it seems banning the player doesn't work so I figured since we are not allowed to name and shame a clear Team Killer(in his case it should be allowed as he knows he will keep getting away with it since his name cannot be posted).

so to avoid breaking rules I thinking that making a black list for players should be implemented into MM to prevent the player from being on the same team as x-player.

The blacklist would only last for a day or two max but can be placed back on it the moment the TK kills the player/s.

this would I think in the long and short run help the PGI team by limiting their workload.

I'd rather see harsher punishment for repeated TKs, AFK and DC offenders. That won't stop a new account without an IP ban, but it would at least stop people from bot farming cbills and trying to tank their elo.

I agree however I don't see them IP banning players.
but yeah harsher penalties need to be introduced.

I went with the black list in game idea since we are not allowed to name and shame the player even if they are guilty after all three players in the same lance long before any of the teams on our side even before anyone actually moves is no accident.

This would make the MM even less functional in balancing teams so NO to this idea.

then we should be allowed to have a list of known tkps put up by the staff and locked and only updated by them.
however that will never happen and something needs to be done as I believe the ones killed was new players and was their very first match.

so how does that look on PGI and the rest of us when gleeful and gloating TKPers know they can get away with it and know nothing will come of it even though they could be ruining the game for new players.

think about it like this, how would this all look to new players from steam, a place everyone wants the game to be seen?

it would make it look like an unfriendly place where we get ........ who gleefully attack and kill their own team whenever they get the chance.

From what I've seen, TK is pretty rare as an intentional act and bot farming cbills? Doesn't seem to be a valuable use of coding time when CW is more pressing.

I figured that TPKers are rare which is why a block list would be easily done and not as resource taxiing as many make believe it would be on MM.

it would be easier to just have a list done by the staff only and locked while only updated if needed.

however I would be hit by a meteor before they do that it seems.

thus the black list seems to be a good idea.

I'm sick and tired of people who criticise me for my weapon choice. And It's STILL F^^^NG Stupid they have to "ACCEPT A FRIEND REQUEST" to block them.

BTW: This editor is cr@p, it keeps missing or jumbling letters

How about having the matchmaker put frequent team killers into games with each other, with a bias for long wait times?
