I've never had a problem with framerates on my new computer. On this new map however, I run at an average of 5 frames per second... this seriously needs to be fixed.

PGI, please PLEASE disable this map until it matches the frame rates of the other maps...

It ran at about 12fps max for me. Most maps I can run at 25-30fps.

But I don't think there's anything they can do about it. There's a lot of open space that lets you see the sophisticated crystalline structures from far away - there's simply a lot more assets on your screen at once compared to other maps in the game.

If would be nice if the framerate could be addressed, but I doubt it will ever improve by much just due to the nature of the visuals involved, period. What kind of system are you running on and what framerates do you get on other maps? (Mining Collective is probably the worst map for me, it performs absofookinglutely terribad, and for no logical reason, either)

PGI... what if we had a render distance option for us toaster-players? Something like the Minecraft fog, where the closer it draws, the less distance it has to draw, and the better your framerate...

Well, here's where I'm confused. My frame rate for Mining Collective is unaffected. I run typically 45-50 frames on all other maps including Mining Collective, but this one new map it runs at less than 10 frames.

And I agree, would be nice if we could control render distance...
