Not sure if this is the right place for this question, since I'm not exactly a new player. please direct me to the proper forum if necessary.
Soooo, On one of the computers in my house the 64 bit client will not run. when I try and start the game using the 64 bit client I get the, "This application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b) click OK to close the application".
If I force the 32 bit client, things seem to work ok, but with a slower framerate than I would like. The 32 bit client is able to run in DX11 or DX9... Not sure if DX9 is better for the 32 bit client or what.
Anyway, I'd like to be able to run the game on that machine with the 64 bit client.
The machine in question does have Windows 7 home premium, 64 bit (yes, I double checked the OS)
8 gigs or ram, Radeon HD 6850 vid card, and an AMD A6-6400k Processor.
I've updated the vid card driver and made sure I have the latest Direct X. I tried running the repair tool, which didn't change anything, and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling MWO on that machine. Still the issue persists and I'm unable to run the 64 bit client.
Any thoughts???

I had this issue on a brand new build for my son -- which I found very strange, but whatever. I believe I wound up uninstalling Microsoft .net framework and then reinstalled C++. That did the trick for him. All I did was search for "Microsoft C++ Redistributable", but this was on 64 bit Windows 8.1.
However, once I did this I had zero issues on his computer running MWO.
