I used to have a blast back in the 90's paying GeNIE an hourly rate to play battletech online. Had all the goodstuff: an updating innersphere map, official house units(that the house leader would assign officers to), etc.

I am new to this version of the game and still learning, but one of the things I am noticing is that there are un-naturally long queue times in faction warfare.

a few suggestions:
  • instead of having a list of 20ish planets along a border to fight over between each ceasefire, why not have the size of the list vary based on the amount of people online (or the amount of people that played in the previous timeframe on that border?)
  • instead of only having 12v12, allow smaller maps/planets to support 4v4 and 8v8 battles.
Enjoying he game so far, and looking to improve as time goes on. With a small player base, I am a bit surprised that you don't have smaller unit actions available or limiting the planet battle list to be appropriate for the amount of people online

I did a search before creating a thread - if there is a suggestion thread that I missed please link it here. if you have other suggestions feel free to add them here if you like.

ps - a bit of topic - where is the arena map with ranked lists for 1v1, 2v2, 4v4, etc?
