Against a comp team you're going to lose regardless if you're a new player. I would rather have a player in trials than have no player at all.

for a new player yes going up such teams is highly likely they would not be successful but yes having players I would totally agree with you is what we need. Taking a look at this weekend's CW challenge is a prime example as get to see first hand how much the gamemode is very much a numbers game (Something I hope in time that the devs address)

Given that Clan Wolf made no gains over the CW weekend, you may have chosen poorly.

Map gains mean nothing. People figured this out and stopped spamming light rushes because you literally get nothing for them. all the matters is getting paid and getting the LP.

I disagree, or do you mean that I should jump around to the faction thats winning etc?
They should side lock the factions a lot longer than they are in my opinion.

Isn't part of the fun in working with your team and faction, improving and moving forward for a sense of accomplishment rather than side switching just to win?

Another part of the equation to have fun is the people you are hanging with. So far the people in Clan Wolf are truly stand up folks. Extremely helpful as this thread has proven and more than competent pilots.

We will work together, strive for victory and have fun and drink many beers while we are at it!

If the point of CW is getting money, just play public queques where you can even get money faster.

I am willing to do gen rushes (i even have fun doing them and winning quickly) as it means more chances to capture planets for my Clan. I have been waiting for my battles to mean something for a long time, and if i just wanted to get paid , i would have not waited or cared for Community Warfare.

Russ is right when he says rewards in CW should be lower than public queques to differentiate it from them, since it is about territory conquest, not c-bills. Anyway, i expect bonuses for owning planets coming in Phase 3, because of course, that makes sense as well.

Given that all the clans including Smoke Jaguar got hit rather hard with the que flooding of the IS from this weekend's challenge isn't exactly fair

We are by no means down and out though I can assure you that

Russ has stated that clans won 53% of the CW games this weekend and all lost words because of a matchmaker bug. SWOL managed to take one planet temporarily despite the clearly uphill battle. Cruise's comment (and separate post here) are pretty pointless.

Ah well that shines light on the situation. Context and full information is key.
